Shahana Javed - May 19, 2012 at 2:03 pm Citizenship was denied after two interviews to my mother. This was based on her “inability to meet the educational requirements for naturalization” as per the denial letter. The denial letter says that the officer repeated and rephrased questions but my mother could not give meaningful answers particularly to the ones that concerned “bearing arms” She was able to answer the history and civic questions and read and write the English part of the test though. We have about two weeks left to file Form N-336. My mother’s doctor says she has certain type of memory loss due to her age. Maybe if she sees a psychiatrist and it is determined that she does have some cognitive disorder it can go on Form N-648 that can be filed with N-336? Can we file Form N-648 with Form N-336 or do you recommend something else?
